Adding a nominee to your demat account is now mandatory last date - 31st March 2023.
📌SEBI( Securities Exchange Board of India) has mandated all the demat and trading account holders to register a nominee before 31st March 2023.

📌If not done, there are chances that your demat accounts will get frozen by 1st April onwards.

📌And the regulators also asked all investors to link their PAN with Aadhaar number by March-end for continual and smooth transactions in the securities market.
